Ivan Medrano is a Filipino-Australian artist exploring a human experience rhythmed by technology. Influenced by an editorial background, his multidisciplinary practice marries the new media techniques of 3D modelling, facial scanning, and digital fashion, with the traditional mediums of collage, sketch, print, and painting.
Medrano was a creative behind the first digital fashion editorials for VOGUE Philippines and PAPER Magazine. His work has been exhibited internationally, including PURE_CONNECTION, Meanwhile Gallery (Wellington, New Zealand), London Fashion Week, Artsect Gallery (London, England), SHOWStudio. IKON-1 Oxford Street W1 Curates (London, England), Art in the Park Philippines (Makati, Philippines), Finale Art File Gallery (Makati, Philippines), and SHOWStudio. Fashion Film Showcase: Digital Reality 2024 (London, England). Editorial features and collaborations include VOGUE Philippines, PAPER Magazine, SHOWStudio, PAP Magazine Korea, and MEGA Magazine.
